ALEKS assignments are given every week! The students receive bonus points for completing extra topics. Ask your child to sign into their account so you can see their pie chart and the progress they make throughout the year.
Google Classroom is up and running for Algebra (D class)! It will be ready to go for 8th grade math classes (A, B, and C) by the end of the week. Students can expect to find copies of notes, and any handouts/sheets that were given in class. At this time, they are not expected to turn any assignments in on google classroom.
Encourage your child to take advantage of corrections on classwork and retakes on low tests/quizzes. I am all about giving second chances, but they will have to work for it!
The online version of your child's book can be found through their google drive. They can click on the "waffle" icon in their drive, and scroll down to find their math text. If they forget their book or prefer to use the online version, it's a great resource. Videos and self-check quizzes are also available on the site.
